This trip is the combination of 4 main destinations of Myanmar and the visits to local tribes to observe the daily life of villagers and innocent behaviors.

Starting from Myanmar Landmark Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon, your trip will be headed to Kalaw, a hill town in Shan State where you will extend your visit by trekking to the villages to see various local tribes. Roaming around the villages, exploring natural treasure and having conversation with local people by the help and guidance of local guide and spending a night at local home or monastery will give you endless experience. 2 Days 1 Night trekking trip will be finished at Inle, regarded as the magical lake by the photographers where breathtaking sceneries, unique style of Intha people can be observed as the most captivating attractions for travelers.

Next point is second capital, Mandalay, the heart of tradition and handicrafts, where enjoyable traveling time will be easily spent exploring the ancient historic sites scattered around Mandalay. You will be brought to Bagan, the richest archaeological zone in Asia where thousands of ancient temples and architecture lies.

Itinerary

Day 1Yangon Arrival (by car)

Upon arrival, you will be met outside the baggage claim area by your guide who will escort you to a waiting vehicle for your transfer to downtown with a brief introduction en route. Check in to hotel.

Day 2Yangon City Tour (by car)

After breakfast at hotel, start sightseeing with Sule Pagoda in the city center. Enjoy your time seeing the colonial buildings and visit Mahabandoola Park which includes the Independence Monument, an obelisk which commemorates Burmese independence gained from the British in 1948. Next visit Chaukhtatgyi (Reclining Buddha) Pagoda a colossal reclining Buddha and Karaweik Hall a Royal barge on the Royal Lake for photo stop. Then, proceed to National Museum and enjoy your time observing Myanmar’s ancient handicrafts, history and culture. Next stop is Bogyoke Market where you can buy souvenirs. Then, visit Yangon’s city center covering World famous Shwedagon Pagoda. Witness the golden dome light up sunshine at the sunset. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.

Day 3Yangon - Heho - Pindaya - Kalaw (by flight & car)

Early morning transfer to airport for flying to Heho and then drive to Pindaya, through picturesque scenery. Visit Pindaya caves, Pindaya lakes; home base paper making and umbrella making industry. Next proceed to Kalaw, a mountain resort town in the Southern Shan State and looking around the mountain city. Overnight at hotel in Kalaw.

Day 4Kalaw Trekking (on foot) Lamaing --- Pin New --- Pawke --- KoneHla --- Htitain (Approx: 5:30 Hours for Trekking)

Have breakfast and get ready for 2 days trek through Shan mountain. We drive for 30minutes from kalaw to trekking starting point call Lamaing, a village of Taung Yo Tribes. We start walking from this village to our lunch village for two hour and 45 minutes. Along the way we will meet with hill tribe people of Taung Yo, Danu and Pa-O. They live on farming chilly, potatoes, ginger, wheat, rice and vegetables. We pass through paddy fields along the way and see farmers harvesting rice in community way. Walk through green bamboo forest on the way to chilly village of Pa-O Tribes. They are call chilly tribes because they eat a lot of chilly and grow a lot also. Walk through beautiful patchwork of variety of farm lands in different color. It looks beautiful with amazing scenery. Arrive to lunch village of Danu tribes call Kone Hla. Have lunch cooked by our chef and have a small rest. Get ready and continue our journey for 2.5 hour walk to forest monastery. Along the way you will pass through never-ending rice terraces and beautiful limestone cliffs with karsts topography. Stay overnight at beautiful and peaceful Pa-O Monastery.

Day 5Kalaw Trekking - Indein (on foot & by boat) Htitain --- KyaukSu --- Nan Yote --- Indein (Approx: 4:30 Hours Trekking)

Wake up by the monks chanting in the morning and enjoy the peaceful environment. Have breakfast and get ready to start Trekking. Trek for 30 minutes to reach highest elevation of the Trek and enjoy amazing view over the lake and Panoramic view of Mountains and valley. Visit a village primary school and see Pa-O traditional Bamboo basket weavers. Meet the tribal people coming back from Inle lake after selling their crops and buy fish and things they need for children back home. Arrive to Indein village and have lunch and take a relaxing boat ride along the river and into the big lake. During the boat trip we will see villages along the river side and enjoy the comfort of this relaxing boat ride to Hotel in Inle lake. Arrive to hotel and ready for a good rest.

Day 6Inle Sightseeing (by boat)

After breakfast at hotel, start scenic boat sightseeing to Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, Floating Gardens, Unique Leg-rowers, Traditional Fishing Method, Silk Weaving, Stilt House Villages on the lake and Nge Pe Chaung Monastery. Overnight at hotel in Inle.

Day 7Indein (by boat)

After breakfast at hotel, visit the Indein Pagoda is located near the Indein creek; it is narrow and has many twists and turns. Paddy fields around the creek receive water from the creek. Here our boat start venturing into a small canal and pass through the beautiful scenery on the way to Pa O Hill tribe village. After visiting the local market, we enjoy walk to the very impressive ruins containing hundred ancient pagodas, some of which are hidden in the lush vegetation and overnight at hotel in Inle.

Day 8Inle - Heho - Mandalay - Amarapura - Ava - Sagaing (by flight & car)

After breakfast at hotel, transfer to airport for the flight to Mandalay. Upon arrival, drive to Mahagandayon Monastery where hundreds of young Novice (Sanga) studying Buddhist Literatures with strictly obeying rule and regulation of the Monastery according to Buddha teaching. In the afternoon, cross the small river by ferry boat to make joyful excursion by horse cart at Ava (Innwa); it was one of ancient Myanmar capitals before British annexation in 1885. Next, proceed to Sagaing Hill, which is perhaps the living center of Buddhist faith in Myanmar today. Hillsides are dotted with numerous Pagodas and Monasteries. Continue to visit Khaungmudaw Pagoda. Then, transfer back to U-Bein bridge and enjoy sunset before going back to Hotel.

Day 9Mandalay - Mingun - Mandalay (by car & boat)

Depart Mandalay on a private boat along the Ayeyarwaddy River to visit Mingun, a village on the west bank of the river. Visit to Settawya Pagoda, Mingun Pahtotawgyi, the world-renowned ringing Mingun Bell and Myatheintan Pagoda. In the afternoon, visit to Mahamuni Pagoda, Kyauktawgyi Pagoda a large Buddha image carved out of a single block of marble, Shwenandaw Monastery (Golden Palace) noted for its exquisite wood carving, Kuthodaw Pagoda known as the world’s Biggest Book for its stone slabs of Buddhist scriptures. Mandalay Palace and in the evening enjoy the sunset from Mandalay Hill. Overnight at hotel in Mandalay.

Day 10Mandalay - Bagan (by car)

Today’s plan is to drive to Bagan by private car (estimate driving hour – 4 hours). Upon arrival, start sightseeing to Shwezigon Pagoda and its magnificent golden stupa, Htilominlo Temple, Manuha Temple; Ananda Temple, architectural master piece and Oak-Kyaung monastery decorated with multi colors paintings. Enjoy the breath-taking sunset from sunset platform. Overnight at hotel in Bagan.

Day 11Bagan Sightseeing (by car)

Have breakfast at hotel, then, start morning sightseeing with Lawkananda Pagoda; East and West Phet Leik with clay plaque Jataka scenes; Thatbyinnyu Temple; Shwegugyi Temple; Palace site and Tharaba Gate. Tour includes Apeyadana Temple with the paintings of Mahayana concept; Nagayon Temple; Archaeological Museum; Dhamayangyi Temple, a massive Temple with finest brick work. Proceed to sunset platform to enjoy sunset. Overnight at hotel in Bagan.

Day 12Bagan Villages (by car)

Today’s plan is to visit surrounding villages and observe their daily lifestyles and tradition.

Day 13Bagan - Yangon (by flight & car)

Enjoy breakfast at hotel. Then, fly back to Yangon. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.

Day 14Yangon Departure (by car)

After breakfast at hotel, free for leisure at your hotel before that departure time and transfer to airport for your departure flight.
