  • Detailed Itinerary

    Day 1: Yangon arrival (by car)

    Arrive at Yangon International Airport and welcome by KST representative and our tour guide. On the way visit to Lawka Chanthar Arbayar Laba Muni Buddha Image (Kyauktawgyi) and Royal White Elephant camp. Check in to hotel and Yangon sightseeing; visit to Chaukhtatgyi (Reclining Buddha) Pagoda a colossal reclining Buddha, Karaweik Hall Royal barge on the Royal lake for photo stop, Yangon's city center featuring Sule Pagoda at city center and colonial building, drive in downtown visit to China Town with the fruit market and Yangon's city center covering World famous Shwedagon Pagoda. Witness the golden dome light up sunshine at the sunset. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.

    Day 2: Yangon - Kyaikhtiyo (golden rock) (by car)

    Early morning, after breakfast at hotel drive to Kyaikthiyo, one of Myanmar's landmarks, which is famous for its precarious position and religious important. Kyaikthiyo the "Golden Rock", a huge boulder completely covered by gold leaf and delicately balanced on the edge of a cliff. Arrive at the base camp of Kinpun and proceed to the Golden Rock by open truck about an hour mountain drive. Take a light trekking on the summit through bamboo forest. Enjoy sunset beauty on hill top and overnight at hotel in Kyaikhtiyo.

    Day 3: Kyaikhtiyo (Golden Rock) - Bago - Mandalay (by car and train)

    After breakfast at hotel, take a half hour walk to a small cave. Also stop at the roadside shops for rare product of jungle. Midmorning, drive to Bago. Make a short visit of Bago town tour including Bago Local Market, Kanbawza Thardi Palace built by King Bayinnaung, Kalayani Sima (Ordination Hall), Shwemawdaw Pagoda, Shwethalyaung Pagoda, the world's most beautiful reclining Buddha and Wood Carving Industry. In the evening transfer to Bago Railway station, proceed to Mandalay by train. Overnight on train.

    Day 4: Mandalay full day sightseeing (by car)

    Arrive Mandalay, transfer to hotel and full day sightseeing; visit to Mahamuni Pagoda, Tapestry making home cottage, Marble carving workshop, Gold-leaf Beating workshop, silk weaving home cottage, Kyauktawgyi Pagoda a large Buddha image carved out of a single block of marble, Shwenandaw Monastery (Golden Palace) noted for its exquisite wood carving, Kuthodaw Pagoda known as the world's Biggest Book for its stone slabs of Buddhist scriptures. Mandalay Palace and in the evening enjoy the sunset from Mandalay Hill. Overnight at hotel in Mandalay.

    Day 5: Amarapura - Mingun sightseeing (by boat and car)

    After breakfast at hotel, excursion to Amarapura. Visit to Mahagandayon Monastery, U Bein Bridge and observe Myanma Traditional Hand-Woven silk workshop. Proceed to Mingun by boat trip, a village on the west bank of the river. Visit to Mingun Pahtotawgyi, the world renowned ringing Mingun Bell, Myatheintan Pagoda and surrounding village. Overnight at hotel in Mandalay.

    Day 6: Mandalay - Sagaing (by car)

    After breakfast at hotel, visit to Sagaing Hill - known as the center for mediation. Hillsides are dotted with numerous Pagodas and Monasteries. Visit to Khaungmudaw Pagoda, Pottery Making village and Silver-smith workshop. In the evening enjoy the sunset from Sagaing Hill. Return to Mandalay. Overnight at hotel in Mandalay.

     

    Day 7: Mandalay - Bagan (by express boat and car)

    After breakfast at hotel, transfer to jetty take a local river cruise trip to Bagan along the river Ayeyarwaddy sampling some of the village life of the people on the river banks. In the evening, arrive at Bagan and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel in Bagan.

    Day 8: Bagan full day sightseeing (by car)

    After breakfast at hotel, for sightseeing includes visit to the colorful Nyaung U Market, Shwezigon Pagoda and its magnificent golden stupa, Kyansittha Umin; Wet-kyi-inn Gubyaukgyi Temple, with superb mural paintings of jataka scenes and Htilominlo Temple. After the must visit to lacquer ware workshop; continue to Manuha Temple; Nanphaya, the residence of King Manuha; Ananda Temple, architectural master piece and Oak-Kyaung monastery decorated with multi colors paintings. Enjoy the breath taking sunset from Shwesandaw Pagoda. Overnight at hotel in Bagan.

    Day 9: Bagan full day sightseeing. (by car)

    After breakfast at hotel, sightseeing start with Lawkananda Pagoda; East and West Phet Leik with clay plaque Jataka scenes; Thatbyinnyu Temple; Shwegugyi Temple; Palace site and Tharaba Gate. Tour includes Apeyadana Temple with the paintings of Mahayana concept; Nagayon Temple; Archaeological Museum; Dhamayangyi Temple, a massive Temple with finest brick work and Mingalar Zedi to watch sunset over the Ayeyarwaddy River. Overnight at hotel in Bagan. 

    Day 10: Bagan - Mt. Popa - Kalaw (by car)

    After breakfast at hotel, drive to Kalaw, a mountain resort town in the Southern Shan State. Enroute visit Mt. Popa, is considered the early font of power for the mystical world of the nats. Climb up Mt. Popa and view the surrounding area. Proceed to Kalaw. Overnight at hotel in Kalaw. 

    Day 11: Kalaw (Trekking)

    After breakfast at hotel, as for full day return trip, the most popular Trekking took place along from Kalaw to Ywa Thit, Taryaw up to view point. Where you can have lunch there. Along the return route, you can visit water reservoir which gave water supply to Kalaw, pay visit Palaung hilly tribes of their living standard. Overnight at hotel in Kalaw. 

     

    Day 12: Kalaw - Pindaya - Inle (by car)

    After breakfast at hotel, drive to Pindaya, through picturesque scenery. Visit Pindaya caves, Pindaya lakes; home base paper making and umbrella making industry. Next proceed to the famous Inle Lake, the residence of the Intha People and a kind of water would. Overnight at hotel in Inle.

    Day 13: Inle Lake sightseeing (by boat excursion)

    After breakfast at hotel, Inle Lake sightseeing by boat, visit to Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, Floating Gardens, Unique Leg-rowers, Traditional Fishing Method, Silk Weaving, Stilt House Villages on the lake and Nge Pe Chaung (Jumping Cat) Monastery. Overnight at hotel in Inle.

    Day 14: Inle - Taunggyi - Kakku - Taunggyi (by car)

    After breakfast at hotel, drive to Taunggyi, Capital of Shan State Taunggyi is a pine clad hill station. The weather is cool all year round and the winter months can be quite cold at night. The Local Market is well known throughout Myanmar. Proceed to Kakku, a unique temple complex of more than 2000 stupas has lied hidden in the Pa-O heartland of Southern Shan State of centuries. Overnight at hotel in Taunggyi.

    Day 15: Taunggyi - Yangon (by Hi-way Bus)

    Morning at leisure.In the evening, transfer to Hi-way bus-stop for Taunggyi to Yangon by Hi-way Bus. Overnight on Hi-way Bus.

    Day 16: Yangon free day

    Arrive Yangon and transfer to hotel. Free at leisure. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.

    Day 17: Yangon - Ngwe Saung Beach (by car)

    After breakfast at hotel, drive to Ngwe Hsaung Beach through rural Ayeyarwaddy Delta Landscapes, small villages and river crossing and local market. Arrive Ngwe Hsaung and free at leisure. Overnight at hotel in Ngwe Hsaung Beach.

     

     

    Day 18: Ngwe Saung Beach

    Free at leisure in Ngwe Hsaung Beach. Overnight at hotel in Ngwe Hsaung Beach.

    Day 19: Ngwe Saung Beach

    Free at leisure in Ngwe Hsaung Beach. Overnight at hotel in Ngwe Hsaung Beach.

    Day 20: Ngwe Saung - Yangon (by car)

    Drive back to Yangon and upon arrival, transfer to hotel.

    Day 21: Shopping and Departure (by car)

    After breakfast at hotel, morning shopping at Gems Mart and Handicrafts shops. Visit to Bogyoke Aung San (Scott) Market where you can buy many souvenirs. And then transfer to airport for departure.
