Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Yangon arrival and sightseeing (by car)
Arrive at Yangon International Airport and welcome by KST
representative and our tour guide. On the way visit to Lawka
Chanthar Arbayar Laba Muni Buddha Image (Kyauktawgyi) and
Royal White Elephant camp. Transfer to hotel and Yangon
sightseeing; visit to Chaukhtatgyi (six story) Pagoda a
colossal reclining Buddha, Karaweik Hall Royal barge on the
Royal lake for photo stop, Yangon's city center featuring
Sule Pagoda at city center and colonial building, drive in
downtown visit to China Town with the fruit market and
Yangon's city center covering World famous Shwedagon Pagoda.
Witness the golden dome light up sunshine as the sunset.
Overnight at hotel in Yangon.
Day 2: Yangon - Elephant Camp (by car)
After breakfast at hotel, drive to Elephant Camp via
Taikkyi Township, 116 km away from Yangon, about 3 hours
drive. Trekking in the forest. Lunch at Camp and free and
easy program in the afternoon. Elephant riding in the forest
in the evening. Dinner and overnight at the Camp.
Day 3: Myaing Hay Won - Yangon (by car)
After breakfast, accompany elephant trainer into the
forest (oozie) in collecting his elephant, which has been
set free in the night. See also the daily routines of the
elephants, bathing and working with the logs. Drive back to
Yangon in the afternoon. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.
Day 4: Shopping and Departure (by car)
After breakfast at hotel, morning shopping at Gems Mart
and Handicrafts shops. Visit to Bogyoke Aung San (Scott)
Market where you can buy many souvenirs. And then transfer
to airport for departure.
