Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Yangon full day sightseeing (by car)

Arrive at Yangon International Airport and welcome by KST representative and our tour guide. On the way visit to Lawka Chanthar Arbayar Laba Muni Buddha Image (Kyauktawgyi) and Royal White Elephant camp. Check in to hotel and Yangon sightseeing; visit to Chaukhtatgyi (Reclining Buddha) Pagoda a colossal reclining Buddha, Karaweik Hall Royal barge on the Royal lake for photo stop, Yangon's city center featuring Sule Pagoda at city center and colonial building, drive in downtown visit China Town with the fruit market and Yangon's city center covering World famous Shwedagon Pagoda. Witness the golden dome light up sunshine at the sunset. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.

Day 2: Yangon - Putao - Shangaung village (by flight and car)

After breakfast at hotel, transfer to airport for Putao flight in the morning. It takes about 3 hours to reach Putao. Have lunch in Putao and proceed to Shangaung village by car. Stay at village house. This village is the largest village on this route; Rawan and Lisu tribes live here. It lies at the foot of the Shangaung range.

 

Day 3: Shangaung Village - Warsamdam village

After breakfast, start trekking and have to climb over the forest-covered mountain range, named Shangaung Range (about 5000 ft) about 7 hours. The other side of the range is another village Warsamdam, a small village that has only 10 houses, next to the beautiful stream. Stay at the village house.

Day 4: Warsamdam village - Zeyardam village

The distance between Warsamdam and Zeyardam village is about 17 km, trekking takes about 5 hours. Walk along the riverbank and cross one suspension bridge. On the way, one can study their cultivation of Mustard, wheat and rice. Zeyardam village is the last village on the way to Phongun Razi. The village is at the height of 3000 ft. and another small stream passes by the village. This village has about 20 houses and surrounded by very deep forests and snow-capped mountains. Stay at the village house.

Day 5: Zeyardam village - River junction camp - Zeyardam village

Trekking by the route along Nat Lan creek to reach River Junction camp which takes about 3 hours. Need to cross one suspension bridge on the way and trek through the deep forest. One could study bamboo, rattan, creeper and orchid in this forest. Bird watching and fly-fishing are also possible activities in this forest. Overnight Zeyardam village.

Day 6: Zeyardam village - Warsamdam village

After breakfast, walk back to Warsamdam along the river bank. Overnight Warsamdam village.

Day 7: Warsamdam village - Shangaung village

After breakfast, climb the mountain range and go down to get the village. Have lunch on the way and overnight Shangaung village.

Day 8: Shangaung - Putao

After breakfast, go back to Putao and have lunch at local restaurant. Free and easy program in the evening. Overnight Putao.

Day 9: Putao - Yangon

Morning breakfast at Putao market, then shop for local souvenirs. After lunch, transfer to airport for flight to Yangon. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.

Day 10: Shopping and Departure (by car)

After breakfast at hotel, morning shopping at Gems Mart and Handicrafts shops. Visit to Bogyoke Aung San (Scott) Market where you can buy many souvenirs. And then transfer to airport for departure.
