Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Yangon arrival (by car) 

Arrive at Yangon International Airport and welcome by KST representative and our tour guide. On the way visit to Lawka Chanthar Arbayar Laba Muni Buddha Image (Kyauktawgyi) and Royal White Elephant camp. Transfer to hotel. Free at leisure. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.

Day 2: Yangon full day sightseeing (by car)

After breakfast at hotel, Yangon full day sightseeing; visit to Chaukhtatgyi (Reclining Buddha) Pagoda a colossal Buddha, Karaweik Hall Royal barge on the Royal lake for photo stop, Yangon's city center featuring Sule Pagoda at city center and colonial building, National Museum, drive in downtown visit China Town with the fruit market and Yangon's city center covering World famous Shwedagon Pagoda. Witness the golden dome light up sunshine at the sunset. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.

Day 3: Yangon - Mandalay (by flight and car)

After breakfast at hotel, transfer to airport for Yangon to Mandalay by flight. Arrive Mandalay and check in to hotel. Mandalay full day sightseeing; visit to Mahamuni Pagoda, Tapestry making home cottage, Marble carving workshop, Gold-leaf Beating workshop, silk weaving home cottage, Kyauktawgyi Pagoda a large Buddha image carved out of a single block of marble, Shwenandaw Monastery (Golden Palace) noted for its exquisite wood carving, Kuthodaw Pagoda known as the world's Biggest Book for its stone slabs of Buddhist scriptures. Mandalay Palace and in the evening enjoy the sunset from Mandalay Hill. Overnight at hotel in Mandalay.

Day 4: Mandalay - Monywa (by car)

After breakfast at hotel, drive to Monywa. Visit to a sandstone cave Po Win Daung, named after a famous "Zawgyi" (alchemist) who once lived here. The Caves of Po Win Daung, numbering more than one hundred, are full of Buddhist statues and murals. Most exhibit the AVA style but some may date from the 14th Century. Nearby, visit Shwe Ba Daung which features unique pavilions cut from the surrounding sandstone and filled with Buddha images. Overnight at hotel in Monywa.

Day 5: Monywa - Sagaing - Mandalay (by car)

After breakfast at hotel, morning visit to local Market. Then drive to Thanbudhay Pagoda. The richly decorated central stupa has no less than 845 smaller stupas around it. Inside the Pahto, you will see thousands of Buddha images decorating every wall, archway and niche. The buildings in the compound have interesting Jatakas relief and there is a huge. Reclining Buddha nearby. Continue driving to Mandalay and on the way Sagaing Hill - known as the center for medition. Hillsides are dotted with numerous Pagodas and Monasteries. Visit to Khaungmudaw Pagoda, Pottery Making village and Silver-smith workshop. In the evening enjoy the sunset from Sagaing Hill. Return to Mandalay. Overnight at hotel in Mandalay.

Day 6: Mandalay free day

Breakfast at hotel, Mandalay free day. Overnight at hotel in Mandalay.

Day 7: Mandalay - Bagan (by flight and car)

After breakfast at hotel, transfer to airport for Mandalay to Bagan by flight. Arrive Bagan and check in to hotel. Bagan full day sightseeing; Nyaung U Market, Shwezigon Pagoda and its magnificent golden stupa, Htilominlo Temple noted for its fine plaster carvings and glazed sand stone decoration, Gubyaukgyi Temple, with superb mural paintings of jataka scenes. Visit to Myinkaba Village and observe the process of Traditional Lacquarware Industry one of Myanmar's best-known handicrafts. Ananda Temple, an architectural masterpiece of the early-style temple with four impressive standing Buddha images. Thabinnyu Temple, the highest temple in Bagan, Dhammayangyi Temple noted for its remarkable brickwork. Enjoy sunset over the site from the upper terrace of Shwesandaw Pagoda. Overnight at hotel in Bagan.

Day 8: Bagan free day

Day 9: Bagan - Mt.Popa - Kalaw (by car) 

After breakfast at hotel, morning depart by road for Kalaw, a mountain resort town in the Southern Shan State. Enroute visit Mt. Popa, is considered the early font of power for the mystical world of the nats. Climb up Mt. Popa and view the surrounding area. Proceed to Kalaw. Overnight at hotel in Kalaw.

 

Day 10: Kalaw - Pindaya - Inle (by car)

After breakfast at hotel, drive to Pindaya, through picturesque scenery. Visit Pindaya caves, Pindaya lakes; home base paper making and umbrella making industry. Next proceed to the famous Inle Lake, the residence of the Intha People and a kind of water world. Overnight at hotel in Inle.

Day 11: Inle Lake sightseeing (by boat excursion)

After breakfast at hotel, Inle Lake sightseeing by boat, visit to Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, Floating Gardens, Unique Leg-rowers, Traditional Fishing Method, Silk Weaving, Stilt House Villages on the lake and Nge Pe Chaung (Jumping Cat) Monastery. Overnight at hotel in Inle.

 

Day 12: Inle Lake free day

Breakfast at hotel, Inlay lake free day. Overnight at hotel in Inle.

Day 13: Inle - Heho - Yangon (by flight and car)

After breakfast at hotel, transfer to Airport, Heho to Yangon by flight. Arrive Yangon and transfer to hotel. Free at leisure. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.

Day 14: Yangon free day

After breakfast at hotel, Yangon free day. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.

Day 15: Shopping and departure

After breakfast at hotel, morning shopping at Gems Mart and Handicrafts shops. Visit to Bogyoke Aung San (Scott) Market where you can buy many souvenirs. And then transfer to airport for departure.
