Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Yangon arrival and sightseeing (by car)
Arrive at Yangon International Airport and welcome by KST
representative and our tour guide. On the way visit to Lawka
Chanthar Arbayar Laba Muni Buddha Image (Kyauktawgyi) and
Royal White Elephant camp. Check in to hotel and Yangon
sightseeing; visit to Chaukhtatgyi (Reclining Buddha) Pagoda
a colossal reclining Buddha, Karaweik Hall Royal barge on
the Royal lake for photo stop, Yangon's city center
featuring Sule Pagoda at city center and colonial building,
drive in downtown visit China Town with the fruit market and
Yangon's city center covering World famous Shwedagon Pagoda.
Witness the golden dome light up sunshine at the sunset.
Overnight at hotel in Yangon.
Day 2: Yangon - Bagan (by flight and car)
After breakfast at hotel, transfer to airport and fly to
Bagan. For sightseeing includes visit to the colorful Nyaung
U Market, Shwezigon Pagoda and its magnificent golden stupa,
Htilominlo Temple noted for its fine plaster carvings and
glazed sand stone decoration, Gubyaukgyi Temple, with superb
mural paintings of jataka scenes. Visit to Myinkaba Village
and observe the process of Traditional Lacquer ware Industry
one of Myanmar's best-known handicrafts. Ananda Temple, an
architectural masterpiece of the early-style temple with
four impressive standing Buddha images. Thabinnyu Temple,
the highest temple in Bagan, Dhammayangyi Temple noted for
its remarkable brickwork. Enjoy sunset over the site from
the upper terrace of Shwesandaw Pagoda. Overnight at hotel
in Bagan.
Day 3: Bagan - Sale - Mt. Popa - Bagan (by car)
After breakfast at hotel, drive to Sale, a town which
develops during the late Bagan area. Worth a visit is the
Yoke Sone monastery with its exceptional wood carving on the
outside of the building. And visit to Mt. Popa, is
considered the early font of power for the mystical world of
the nats. Climb up Mt. Popa and view the surrounding area.
Return back to Bagan. Over night at hotel in Bagan.
Day 4: Bagan - Mandalay - Sagaing ( by flight and car)
After breakfast at hotel, transfer to airport and fly to
Mandalay. Arrive Mandalay and check in to hotel. Mandalay
sightseeing; visit to Mahamuni Pagoda, Kyauktawgyi Pagoda,
Shwenandaw Monastery (Golden Palace), a superb example of a
traditional wooden building and Kuthodaw Pagoda, a large
Buddha image carved out of a single block of marble,
Sulamani Pagoda, Mandalay Hill and Mandalay Palace. Proceed
to Sagaing Hill - known as the center for medition.
Hillsides are dotted with numerous Pagodas and Monasteries.
Visit to Khaungmudaw Pagoda, Pottery Making village and
Silver-smith workshop. In the evening enjoy the sunset from
Sagaing Hill. Return to Mandalay. Overnight at hotel in
Mandalay.
Day 5: Mandalay - Mingun - Yangon ( by car, boat and
flight)
After breakfast at hotel, depart Mandalay on a private
boat along the Ayeyarwaddy River to visit Mingun, a village
on the west bank of the river. Visit to Mingun Pahtotawgyi,
the world renowned ringing Mingun Bell, Myatheintan Pagoda
and surrounding village. In the evening, fly back to Yangon.
Overnight at hotel in Yangon.
Day 6: Shopping and Departure (by car)
After breakfast at hotel, morning shopping at Gems Mart
and Handicrafts shops. Visit to Bogyoke Aung San (Scott)
Market where you can buy many souvenirs. And then transfer
to airport for departure.
